oldest university press in the world has partnered with a software development company to drive innovation. Cambridge University Press and Future Processing have joined forces to help grow the capabilities of the Academic technology team. The partnership, which started in January 2020, aims to expand the capabilities of the platform that integrates academic books and journals.
Next, Fashion designer, Richard Quinn, recently used Epson technology for his autumn/winter 2021 collection. Quinn says he wanted to challenge himself with what could be achieved using print and says he wanted to go beyond just making clothes. The campaign used vehicle wraps and graphics to bring to life the theme of fantasy of fashion, with people looking for escapism more than ever.
Now, last week content platform FuturePrint held a summit on the digitalisation of packaging, in order to comment on the innovations currently taking place in the print industry. The event gathered together dozens of industry professionals who discussed the latest developments in this field. We spoke to director Frazer Chesterman at the event about how about the summit went.
And finally, Mount Street Printers recently collaborated with Antalis on a special project to create a festive window display for the print company’s shop in Mayfair. Titled ‘Deck the Halls’, the display features a model of the Mount Street Printers shop, made out of Olin Origins Chalk from Antalis and displayed on a red base made from Keaykolour Guardsman Red, also from Antalis.
