Two Sides has recently made several strides in its mission to dispel myths over the sustainability of print and paper. A new ‘Myths and Facts booklet’ has been released by Two Sides, which details new facts and information to help inform consumers and businesses about the still common falsehoods surrounding paper usage in Europe.
Next, EFI has continued to expand it distribution of VUTEk printers in the UK and Europe, including at a photo printing company based in Welwyn Garden City. Parrot Print which launched in March this year has quickly grown and offers a variety of print and photo options. The company was the first in Europe to purchase the large EFI VUTEk Q5r digital printer.
Now, a big trend currently influencing print and packaging is personalisation. Many print machine manufacturers have created intelligent and innovative robotics to help provide customers with interactive experiences and personalised products. To coincide with this, we spoke to Stuart Botterman, managing director of Magnum Materials, who told us more.
And finally, The IPIA, a not-for-profit trade association that supports the print industry, has revealed what the industry can expect from its upcoming Recognising Excellence Expo 2021. The event will include a networking lunch at 12.30pm, which will be followed by a gala dinner in the evening which runs from 7 to 9pm. The event will be the IPIA’s first live event in nearly two years.
