Minuteman Press has expanded its UK franchise network with the opening of a new site in Hove, near Brighton. The new facility will be run by Romi and Russell Pinsent, who purchased TJ’s Branding Solutions through Minuteman’s conversion programme. The pair say they intend to build long-lasting relationships with customers and help them grow their businesses.
Next, research by not-for-profit organisation, Two Sides, has revealed a large percentage of UK consumers believe that paper is wasteful, and its rate of recycling isn’t very high. This is despite the fact that paper is one of the most recycled materials in the world, with a recycling rate of 74%. Two Sides says companies need to do more to educate consumers and dispel myths around the material.
Now, supplier of paper, packaging, and display products, Premier has entered into an exclusive deal with paper honeycomb manufacturer, Dufaylite. Under the deal Premier has become the distribution partner for Ultra Board, stocking, selling, and delivering the product from its 16 UK sites. We spoke to managing director of Dufaylite, Ashley Moscrop about this latest partnership.
And finally, makers of greetings cards, Hallmark, has announced it will be giving away one million cards in the US as part of its Share Kindness initiative. The free cards have been designed to help children learn about courage, community, and being oneself. The range of cards are part of the Little World Changers collection and help youngsters understand big issues on an individual level.
